About Azusa for Clean Water
We are a faith-based group that is dedicated to raising money and awareness to support clean water organizations working in developing countries. We hope to inspire people to learn about the global water crisis and to commit to take action for the nearly 1 billion people in the world who lack access to clean and sustainable water sources.
Welcome to the 3rd annual Azusa for Clean Water 5k and 2k Family Fun Run!
We are once again joining up with the city of Azusa and Lifewater International for the annual 2K and 5K Azusa Family Fun Run. Together our participants are committed to raising $6,000 to provide a clean water well for those who need it most.
In order to accomplish this goal, we need runners and walkers to participate in the race and support the well financially. We want participants to ask friends and family to sponsor them and for runners (and walkers) to consider giving themselves! As always, all of the money goes directly to Lifewater's shallow well efforts.
This year's race will be held on Sunday October 7th, 2012
Early registation is $15 for adults 18 and older, and just $5 for kids 17 and younger. After September 27th, registration increases by $5 - so hurry and register early! (Day-of Registration begins at 7:00 a.m.)The staring and finishing line for both the 5K and the 2K Kid's and Family Fun Run will take place at the Azusa Senior Center at 740 N. Dalton Ave, Azusa CA.
